Ripple Airdrop

Despite lack of announcement from Ripple, there is a snapshot taking place 2020/12/11 at 10:00 PM (UTC) for all Ripple holders. At this time, $XRP holders will be airdropped $SPARK tokens. STABLE Act Proposal

Cryptocurrency continues to capture the attention of regulators. This time it is stablecoins that are taking the heat. Three members of the US congress proposed a bill to require banking charters for all stablecoin issuers. They cited discriminatory practices as reasoning for the bill. Several members from the crypto community discussed potential implications of the bill; ultimately, the proposal seems to be spawn from a confused perspective and consensus among the community reveals -- there is no reason to be upset.

Visa Bitcoin Rewards Card

The credit card goliath is entering the crypto space. Visa has announced a partnership with BlockFi that will reward spenders with Bitcoin. Details are still getting ironed out on terms and conditions of the card. In the meantime, BlockFi has launched their waiting list where prospective cardholders can hold their spot in line.
